Understanding the opportunity

Balance Power offers innovative clean energy solutions that balance the needs of the country with those of the community. But with the space becoming more crowded, Balance Power needed to elevate its profile and differentiate itself to reach key audiences, whether that be landowners, businesses, local authorities or communities, and establish itself as a leading industry player.

Bridging the gap

After consulting with Balance Power and identifying key barriers to growth, we refined its vision, mission and messaging, carving out a distinctive brand voice that laid the foundations for our integrated communications plan.

As well as mapping out a clear path to reaching Balance Power’s key audiences, our strategy included tactics to address key communications challenges around NIMBYism while raising awareness about what’s needed to reach net zero.

Engaging audiences

One of our focus areas has been educating landowners about the opportunities that come with hosting renewable energy projects on their land, positioning Balance Power as a trusted and experienced developer who can guide them through the process. In addition, we’ve leveraged the strong expertise of the Balance Power team. We’ve trained spokespeople on how to effectively highlight the systematic roadblocks to greening the grid to a range of diverse audiences.

Building value

We’ve raised Balance Power’s profile among its target audiences, forged robust connections within the industry and established it as a trusted name. By pursuing strategic opportunities to heighten both Balance Power’s visibility and credibility, our integrated comms activity has acted as a catalyst for Balance Power’s growth.
