The challenge
At a pivotal point for not-for-profit Bradford Literature Festival’s journey, and ahead of its 10-year anniversary, we partnered with the festival on its strategic communications to highlight BLF as a year-round literature event that both challenges perceptions and creates unique moments of cross-cultural connection.
The approach
We established a proactive monthly press office that highlighted Bradford Literature Festival as the ‘Glastonbury’ of all literary festivals. From developing pitches and press releases that included key spokesperson commentary to facilitating media briefings and interviews, our media outreach was a huge success, resulting in high-quality placements that highlighted the festival’s unique programming and diverse line-up of authors and literary artists.
